Throwing
Heat the autobiography of Nolan Ryan. Nolan Ryan is an all-star pitcher that
use to play in the MLB and is now in the Hall of Fame. He was born in Refugio, Texas;
on January 31, 1947 when he was growing up he had 5 other siblings. When he was
growing up he went to Alvin High in 1965 and was the pitcher of his high school
baseball team. When came out of college he got drafted by the New York Mets
then he went the Angels and then the Astros.
In his Career
he had 5 No hitters and had the record for the most No Hitters. In 1979 he
started for the American League in the All-star game. Nolan became a very
famous baseball player and got 4,000 strikeouts in his Career. I thought this
book was very good because it talks about his childhood and how hard he worked
to get the MLB. If you like sport books this is a very good book because it’s
about his accomplishments in the MLB.
