In Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare it seemed like it was a
tragedy more than a comedy. It seemed like a tragedy because there was a lot of
drama and the two families disliked each other. When people say it’s a comedy I
don’t get where they got that from because nothing seems funny in the play
except some words. There are a lot of deaths in Romeo and Juliet including
Romeo and Juliet and Paris and Lady Capulet and Tybalt and Mercutio. Romeo and
Juliet are in love and there love last through the whole play.
If you
like dramas this is a good play to read for you because there is love and
tragedies. In the end Juliet gets sleeping poison so she fakes her death so she
doesn’t have to marry Paris. Romeo finds out she is dead and decides to kill himself
with poison and burry himself with Juliet. But when he goes to do that he runs
into Paris and they get into a fight and Romeo kills Paris.
